At the end of the year, Under Armour releases pro basketball player Steph Curry’s latest signature shoe in a hot new colorway: Now available, the white, grey, and black Under Armour Curry 3 puts a clean spin on the form-fitting silhouette of the back-to-back NBA MVP’s pro shoe.
The Curry 3 is a mix of progressive design with the company’s latest technical features and was developed at Under Armour’s product lab in direct cooperation between Under Armour’s newly appointed Chief Design Officer Dave Dombrow and Stephen Curry.
The shoe features Threadborne fabric, executed in clean white and inspired by the rugged fibre materials found in parachutes, known as paracord. Implemented through a special manufacturing process, Threadborne fabric provides longevity at the Curry 3’s core. For a secure grip, the Curry 3 brings back Herringbone Traction in the outsole.
Additional tech performance comes from a Meta-Wing carbon fiber shank that specifically supports the heel, arch, and forefoot. Throughout the Curry 3’s upper, Anafoam material secures a body-mapped fit while keeping the shoe’s overall weight at a minimum. Keeping up with Steph Curry’s fast-footed play style, UA’s patented Charged Cushioning supports spring-loaded agility.
The Under Armour Curry 3 is available now with a EUR 180.00 price tag.
